Summary/Abstract: Solving the problem of borrowing brings about many arguments and points of view. We remarked various ways of solving this problem. Each and every intellectual agreed that borrowings are necessary. They also agreed that the enriching of the vocabulary must be done by means of borrowings, according to the specificity of our language. While some intellectuals called for the urgency of borrowings of Latin terms, only from necessity, Cipariu and Hasdeu pleaded for adopting words, exclusively, of Latin origin.
