Summary/Abstract: The study convincingly highlights, in an explanatory, kaleidoscopic and encyclopedic development, the multilateral and decisive role of the language as a coercive factor, at the national level, as the catalyst of wills and individual initiatives and their concentration in a common, unitary front to form the general Romanian offensive for emancipation and national unity whose heroic militant was Astra.
