Summary/Abstract: Early school age is a special time in which a child develops on many levels — emotional, physical, intellectual, etc. It is also a period in which a young person experiences a new reality for himself: school education. It is worth taking care that it has the right conditions to develop its potential. Knowledge of the theory of multiple intelligences may be helpful in this regard. This article de- scribes the stages of human development, with particular emphasis on middle and late childhood, and characterizes the theory of multiple intelligences and how it can be used to support children of early school age to develop their potential.
