Summary/Abstract: Based on new sources, the paper resolves the literary pseudonym “Svetorod Žurnalović”, i.e. the author of the book “Ukor na buntovne Srbe” (“A Rebuke of the Rebellious Serbs”), printed in 1843. The versed literary-political polemic between the Obrenovićs and the Defenders of the Constitution is examined. The quoted verses from this little book concern this polemic, illustrating the dynastic struggles in the mid-19th century. Two letters of Tatomir Milovuk to Prince Miloš are given, as well as Milovuk’s autobiographical account of the days of taking over power by the Defenders of the Constitution and Prince Aleksandar Karađorđević, based on which it can be clearly concluded that Milovuk is behind the “Svetorod Žurnalović” pseudonym.
