Summary/Abstract: The work deals with the current issues of stressors in the work of secondary school teachers. The authors focus primary on the personality of the teachers, who have to manage various critical situations every day at the level of communication with superiors and mutual interaction with students, students’ parents, increased demands on their professional competences, pedagogical skills, which can lead to subsequent exhaustion in physical and mental spheres. We pay due attention to the dynamic phenomenon of resilience and its important position in the professional life of a teacher. We present the results of the work, the aim of which was, according to certain criteria, to determine and compare the level of resilience of secondary school teachers in relation to various stressors. To verify the chosen goal, we used a questionnaire focused on individual manifestations of general susceptibility to stress and burnout syndrome, which we supplemented with demographic items determining age, genger, length of teaching experience.
