Summary/Abstract: The right to property is absolute and inviolable, and it can be limited or taken away only under conditions prescribed by law. The legal regime of property rights is crucial for every society and country. The confiscation of private property in the former Yugoslavia, in various forms, was unjust and arbitrary. There are many consequences of such actions, which can be tried to be removed by denationalizing confiscated property.
