Summary/Abstract: Stalking is a new criminal offense in the criminal legislation of the Republic of Srpska , prescribed in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Srpska from 2017 after harmonization of criminal legislation of Republic of Srpska with the Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention), ratified by Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stalking is a new term for socially unacceptable behavior that is as old as mankind. The paper deals with the concept of stalking itself, as well as the legal characteristics of a criminal offense. Also, the paper shows the criminal offense of stalking, as it is criminalized in the Criminal Code of Republic of Serbia.
