Summary/Abstract: This research examines the effect of school climate on student motivation through the observations of teachers at 14 high schools in Adana. The data collected under the headings of classroom environment, teacher-student communication, motivation strategies, student participation, interesting materials, course materials used, group studies, feedback and evaluation, and general energy of the class were examined using the thematic analysis method. Research findings show that the overall atmosphere and student interaction are positive. While positive language and high response participation were observed in teacher-student communication, some difference in student participation was determined. It has been observed that teachers adopt various strategies regarding motivational strategies and interesting materials. In conclusion, the research highlights that school climate has a significant impact on student motivation. These findings can guide school administration and teachers to develop more effective strategies in education and improve students' learning experiences.
