Summary/Abstract: This research was conducted on female high school students in Adana and aims to examine the "Queen Bee Syndrome", which is commonly observed in high school students. The main focuses of the study include gender roles, social expectations, the impact of competition on learning, coping strategies, social support and the role of the education system. The findings delve into how students perceive this phenomenon and how they develop coping strategies. The results of the study reveal that social expectations, gender roles and competition in the school environment are determining factors on Queen Bee Syndrome. A detailed understanding is presented on how social relations, success goals and career planning among students are affected by this phenomenon. In addition, students' coping strategies at individual and social levels, their search for social support, and the role of the education system constitute an important basis for developing intervention strategies on this issue. This study provides a comprehensive analysis to understand the effects of Queen Bee Syndrome on high school students, making a contribution to identifying potential intervention points for education professionals, guidance experts and policy makers.
