Summary/Abstract: This research was conducted to understand the views of leaders in educational institutions on innovation competencies, innovation culture, sustainable innovation strategies and stakeholder collaboration. The participants of the research consist of 13 social studies teachers in Adana. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool and the data obtained was evaluated using the thematic analysis method. The findings show that leaders generally evaluate innovation from a similar perspective, apply various strategies to create and maintain an innovation culture, make various efforts to determine sustainable innovation strategies and long-term impact assessment, and use various methods to increase stakeholder cooperation and social interaction. The research provides important guidance for leaders in the education sector to evaluate and improve their innovation efforts.
