Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses seven late medieval lead seals found in Serbia south of the Sava and Danube rivers. These are seals/stamps attached to the fabric as an accompanying means of identification and regulation of quality control. They were attributed to Venice, Dubrovnik and the Upper Lusatian city of Görlitz. All specimens are tentatively dated to the 14–15th centuries. These findings are valuable for the study of trade as they supplement the data known from written sources, indicate trade connections and the importance of trade, not only in larger centers, but also in smaller squares.
