Summary/Abstract: This study was carried out to understand the attachment and perspectives of secondary school students in Adana to local culture and food. Within the scope of the research, students' interest in local foods in their daily lives was associated with their family and social environments. Cultural affiliation and traditions, the effects of traditional family meals on students, and food preferences in social interaction environments were examined. Additionally, the relationship between education and information resources at school and attitudes towards local culture and food was evaluated. Research findings reveal that students generally show a positive attachment to local culture and food. It is seen that family, circle of friends and school play an important role in reinforcing this commitment of students. These findings highlight the importance of family, school, and community collaboration to preserve and transmit local culture and cuisine.
