Summary/Abstract: This research aims to examine BİLSEM students' attitudes and usage competencies towards Web 2.0 tools. The research was conducted on 50 BİLSEM students and provides a comprehensive analysis to understand the relationships between demographic factors and attitudes towards Web 2.0 tools and usage competence. The research, which examined the demographic characteristics of the participants such as age, gender and education level, collected data with a survey form designed on the basis of scale development studies. While examining the impact of demographic characteristics on attitudes and usage competence towards Web 2.0 tools, the findings showed that they generally have similar levels of attitudes and competence. While attitudes were observed to be at an average level, usage competence was found to be at a medium level. Regression analysis results revealed that there is a strong and negative relationship between Web 2.0 attitude and usage competence. The results highlight that educators need to consider demographic factors to support students in using Web 2.0 tools more effectively. Considering the limitations of the research, it is recommended that future studies be conducted with larger sample groups and different demographic groups. This study aims to provide a valuable perspective to researchers, educators and policy makers who want to understand and improve technology integration in education.
