Summary/Abstract: This study examines the income concerns of secondary school students in Mersin and the effects of these concerns on daily life, social relations and academic achievement. In the research conducted using a qualitative situation model, data was collected from 24 secondary school students using a semi-structured interview form. The findings indicate that students' concerns about their family income levels affect their overall quality of life and emphasize the importance of starting financial literacy education at a young age.
