Summary/Abstract: This study was conducted to understand the financial literacy levels of high school students in Adana and their perspectives on financial issues. The research aims to evaluate the knowledge levels of high school students on basic budget management, credit and debt concepts, investment principles, daily financial transactions, tax system and basic tax concepts and to determine their general interest in financial issues. A qualitative research model was adopted in the study and was conducted on a sample of 140 high school students in Adana. With the 10-question interview form used as a data collection tool, answers to the questions of students' financial literacy levels, interest in financial issues and the impact of socio-economic factors were obtained. The data obtained was analyzed using the thematic analysis method. The main findings of the research show that participating high school students generally have knowledge of basic budget management and daily financial transactions, but they want to learn more about the concepts of credit, debt and the tax system.
