SPRING TRADITIONS AND BELIEFS IN THE CONTEXT OF ECOLOGICAL CULTURE

Summary/Abstract: This article explores beliefs and legends related to sacred sources, starting from pre-Christian perceptions, through Christian beliefs related to healing, to their reflection in the contemporary sociocultural space. This research connects the beliefs and legends relating to the sacred springs and their power over time in the context of the construction of ecological culture. In this work the path of ecological culture construction is explored, through the demonstration of beliefs in its powers and the awakening of awareness of the importance of certain segments of the natural environment in the life and survival of man.
