Summary/Abstract: Within the framework of the thesis (Veselý, 2004) we have realized in the years of 2003 and 2004 a survey of the workload of leading officers of the Police of the Czech Republic of the county administration of South Bohemia using the query method. The survey was concentrates on the evaluation of the quality of their living standards, with stress on health, as well as on the extent of the influence of stress factors on their working efficiency. We inform about some of the results of the survey in two separate articles.
