Summary/Abstract: On September 26, 2023, the conference Body and Physicality in Slovak Poetry was held at the Institute of Slovak Literature SAV. It was the third year of a regular scientific seminar organized on the grounds of the institute with the intention of providing space for probing Slovak poetry. After the first year on the topic of Boundaries and demarcation lines in Slovak poetry (2021) and the second focusing on Animals in Slovak poetry (2022), this time the focus was on the human body in various forms and contexts. The diversity in the literary representation of the body, but also in the approach to processing the issue, could be observed across three thematically separated blocks.
