Summary/Abstract: The paper covers a number of problems concerning the euthanasia the¬me. Does a person have the freedom of will that can be directed at self-killing? Does a person have the right to death? If a person decides to undergo euthanasia, is it a display of his/her evil or good will? The theme of a person’s free will for¬med another approach to understanding of the euthanasia subject in the history of philosophical thought, in which one can find various answers to the question whether a person has a right to decide the time of his/her death. All these pro¬blems are considered by the author of the paper.
