Summary/Abstract: Small and middle enterprises play an important role in the economy of market, they have an influence on social stability, economic development of a country, they are a motive power of innovation, employment and social integration. This sector is supposed to be a backbone of the economy of the European Union. The article deals with the definition of MSP, setting of advantages and disadvantages at the market and evaluation of their strategic leading. With regard to the weakness of strategic leading in MSP there was assumed a hypothesis that there are engaged mainly bigger companies from the sector of small and middle enterprises in strategic leading and setting-up a strategy. The target of the article was to examine this theory and to check it up subsequently
