Summary/Abstract: The article is aimed at summarizing the data available from the present EU policies, then synthesizing the up-to-date knowledge and drawing up the directions, where the society should head within the next definition of interventions in the field of adaptation measures on various levels. It uses the political frameworks defined by the expert groups from Europe and explains each of the situations and scenarios according to selected sectors and fields.
