Summary/Abstract: Information security management system is a complex system of its management according to the model provided by the Slovak technical norm STN ISO/IEC 27001. The paper presents a procedural approach in appraisal of information and telecommunication systems in consideration of personal data protection, safety rules, organizational procedures, internal processes and methodologies. Statistically processed analyse review of an information protection level on the part of personal security in the Slovak Republic is the result.
