Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the assessment of the importance of the practical application of disciplinary proceedings in the civil service according to the „Staff pragmatics“. Its importance lies in the fact that some provisions relating to disciplinary proceedings for civil servants have been incorporated into the Civil Service Act No. 312/2001 Coll. and valid, with minor changes until 2006, when an amendment to the Civil Service Act was repealed.
