Summary/Abstract: The paper presents some aspects of the environmental dimension of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Attention is mainly paid to the protection of the natural, but partly also the artificial environment, which is endangered in connection with the long-term occupation of the West Bank. The aim of the paper is to first, briefly present the current trend, which is the environmentalization of the special branches of the public internation¬al law, specifically the international law of armed conflicts and refugee law, and second, to point out the lesser-known environmental content of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
