AUTONOMOUS TRANSPORT AS A PART OF SUSTAINABLE CITY DEVELOPMENT

Summary/Abstract: The article identifies and determines the relationship between building autonomous transport in the city and sustainable development. Innovative transport solutions are becoming an increasingly im-portant element in the debate on the development of sustainable cities. Unfortunately, there is currently no structured urban policy in this area in Europe. The aim of the article was to examine the presence of issues related to autonomous vehicles in the activities of cities. The research problem raised in the article is the impact of autonomous mobility on shaping the city’s sustainable development strategy. In addition, selected conclusions from a survey conducted in Polish cities were indicated.
