Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the results of the questionnaire survey done on a random sample of people in the Karlovy Vary Region in 2012. It surveys peoples’ considerate behaviour within the environment and whether people are willing to do something in favour of the environment, and how far they are interested in the information concerning the environment. The inhabitants’ opinion on the institutional European integration and globalization in the sphere of environment was also a part of the questionnaire. The obtained data were assessed statistically using the qualitative analysis methods. The survey conclusions demonstrate the current Karlovy Vary Region inhabitants’ attitude towards the levels and importance of the environment in everyday life.
