Summary/Abstract: The scientific study analyzes the implementation of common European rules in the area of services of public interest. The analysis focuses on the facts, phenomena, processes and context, relating to services of general economic interest and social services in the public interest provided by selected entities in the EU member states. In principle, the system of providing the social services in public interest is based on the principle of financing from public resources.
