Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the issue of journalistic standards shown in a distorted way, characteristic of the medium called comics (comic strip). This form of expression usually includes images with written text, with the latter merging speech balloons and captions. The specificity of comics as a form of expression is the reason for which it has become the paradigm of considerations signalled in the title of the article. The methodology combines the text analysis with elements of the biographical method.
