Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the analysis of the results of parliamentary elections in Slovakia in 2016. The main objective of this paper is to describe the impact of the parliamentary elections and their results on general development after the elections and formation of potential coalition models. The analysed elections can be called a breakthrough partly as the parliament is given new, non-traditional political parties and the pre-election surveys failed partly. The aim of this paper is to analyse the elections results of political parties and on the basis of the prediction of outcomes outline the future development of the Slovak political and party system. Generally, we can evaluate the Slovak party system to be characterized by a strong demand for charismatic personalities.
