Summary/Abstract: How students of the third, fourth and fifth grade in elementary school “Kiseljak 1” Bilalovac write multi-digit numbers, with or without a conjuction before the last number, which wording between dvjesto/dvjesta, tristo/trista, or nouns hiljada/tisuća, milion/milijun they opt for and use more frequently and which method they will choose when writing hundreds, is precisely researched and covered in this paper. Furthermore, it was important for us to examine the influence of the mathematics textbook from which these students followed the content of this subject, therefore the results of this research were compared with the already obtained results related to mathematics textbooks for classroom teaching.
