Dimensions of MEPs communication

Summary/Abstract: For MEPs is essential to ensure a continuous communication with their voters, parties, and sending countries. It becomes much more important for them to inform people about their activities in order to be “reachable” and to be held accountable in the future. This article examines two types of communication of MEPs – first is the home style, where the representative wants to establish a relationship with his own country and his voting public, and the second one is the virtual space, that includes wider political community, so the communication goes on a transnational level with the help of online space – and also analyses their connection to each other.
