Summary/Abstract: According to the theory of readers/literature textbooks, the text includes the following key concepts: reader, literature reader, Croatian literature reader, literature textbook, paradigm of methodic, interpretation / school interpretation, literal and artistic, literal and artistic content, writers/female writers, expression and creation, reading. The text questions and evaluates the author's acts and achievements in creation of readers, and establishes a suitable theoretical (primarily methodical) context. Based on analysis and assessment (evaluation) of all reader/textbook components, the author defines their position within the corpus of contemporary Croatian primary school literary readers.
