Summary/Abstract: The operational experiment accelerates the obtaining of the necessary information regarding the criminal intentions and the criminal experience. The identification of these moments and the verification of such information, without the application of the appropriate experimental methods could take years and years, because they can appear, they can manifest only in certain conditions and situations. The operational experiment presupposes the creation of such conditions and situations that would ensure, to the maximum, the obtaining of objective, complete and truthful information. The operative experiment has multiple priorities in relation to the method of observation. First of all, it makes it possible to study one and the same phenomenon under different conditions. Second, in the operative experiment one and the same phenomenon can be repeated countless times, both in similar and different circumstances. With the help of the operative experiment we can establish, study with a higher degree of probability, than in the case of observation, certain phenomena, because this research is carried out on the basis of a thorough initial preparation.
