Summary/Abstract: In this article we intend to make an analysis of some aspects related to the normative framework regarding the procedure of applying the polygraph in the criminal process at international level.We will focus on the existing legislation in the USA, Canada, Japan, India, Israel, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Republic of Moldova.The purpose of this article is to make a comparative analysis of existing laws and doctrines at the international level in order to apply psycho-physiological testing of persons, as well as to formulate recommendations for further research in the field of polygraph application to criminal investigation.
