Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the issue of the evaluation of leakages of hazardous chemicals in the conditions of the Slovak Republic through the conservative evaluation of emissions of hazardous chemicals. This manual procedure describes in detail the steps needed to evaluate the release of hazardous chemical properly. Finally, the practical findings and recommendations from the application of these procedures are presented in practice.
