Summary/Abstract: The reference article refers to the analysis of the spectrum of problems that affect the presumption of innocence through various public statements regarding persons accused in criminal matters. The subject is very widespread, being encountered practically every day. This article analyzes national and international practice regarding the application and observance of this principle, following a series of recommendations in order to avoid violating the right of the accused.
