Analysis of factors affecting building savings in the Czech Republic

Summary/Abstract: Building savings is currently one of significant macroeconomic aspects of the state. Using the descriptive and inductive statistics methods, the authors therefore aimed to describe the development of building savings selected indicators over the past 21 years. Moreover, the authors aimed to analyze factors affecting the use of building savings in the Czech Republic on a sample of selected respondents. The data for empirical analyzes were obtained through a questionnaire and a review of publications of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. The paper uses statistical methods and empirical questionnaire focused on using building savings in the Czech Republic. In the introductory part of this paper the authors focus on describing the legislative development of building savings in the Czech Republic from its origins to the present. On the basis of the statistical survey, it can be concluded that there is a factor that significantly influences building savings in the Czech Republic.
