Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the items and problems of using the information that creates the only global information space in the conditions of ensuring sustainable regional development. It was defined that the disunity and the high intense of the information interaction processes needs to be provided by effective communication between the regional and local authorities, enterprises and the community. The obstacles to the development of partnership of social relations with the community of the city were defined in the article. The expectations about improvement of the social policy of the region and social relations with the community of the city were analyzed. The formation of a positive image among the population largely depends on the rational creation and functioning of a regional communication service.
