Summary/Abstract: In November 1941, the Minister of Public Works and Communications sent the Prime Minister a material on the mouths of the Danube. He highlighted the importance of navigation on the maritime Danube, the establishment of the European Danube Commission, the works carried out to improve traffic, and concluded with suggestions for the future. The author, Engr. Grigore Vasilescu anticipated that economic exchanges „will intensify through the penetration of European sphere of influence in Russia and Asia bordering the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea".
