Summary/Abstract: The article deals with God's Servant Barbora Žagarietė-Umiastauskaitė's (1628-1648) conception of sanctity in the historical context as well as in the context of the spiritual life of the 21st century man. From an analysis and genealogy of the portraits of the Umiastauskai family, the greatest attention is given to the creation of the Barbora Žagarietė's future artistic image. Barbora Žagarietė-Umiastauskaitė's portraits created through various periods are surveyed for the first time. The results of the research provide material for the painter's studies and creation.
