Summary/Abstract: The present paper tries to bring to the attention of the initiated or less initiated reader those elements of regional development and environmental protection through which the economic, natural, and human resources should be grouped according to the needs and possibilities of each individual state, reported to our days. In this sense, the work will reveal the events of the last 3 years show that the interdependence of the economic, cultural, and development processes of the states of the world can be disrupted for various reasons. At the same time, we will try to understand through this paper, that satisfaction of the population's needs must be achieved respecting the principles of environmental sustainability.
