Summary/Abstract: An extensive administrative reform in the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia with a goal to remove two parallel administrative branches and reduce large apparatus was concluded with the establishment of the Office of the German State Minister for Bohemia and Moravia, headed by K. H. Frank, up to then the State Secretary at the Reich protector. When the reform was over, the Oberlandräte were no more heads of first level administrative bodies, but they became information organs for the central protectorate administration who were supposed to have overview over all administrative branches in their given territory. Regular meetings of K. H. Frank with these inspectors enabled a close cooperation and mutual information exchange on current political, economic and safety issues, on the mood in Czech population, and, also, on the current international situation.
