Forms of reverse mortgage in some selected countries and in Poland

Summary/Abstract: article describes the legal and planned solutions for the reverse mortgage. Briefly discusses the solutions adopted or planned in following countries: United States, Spain, Great Britain and Germany. In the final part it discuses the current legal arrangements that enable the adop- tion of such a product in Poland, the reasons that are make this product needed and on sim- ilarity to live and survival insurances, characterize the risks which may be associated with this product.
