Awareness of insurance among entrepreneurs (SMEs)

Summary/Abstract: The article presents results of the research done on small and medium enterprises in Pomorskie region. The study focused on an analysis of activities in the field of risk manage- ment, including in particular the use of insurance coverage and its evaluation. The results of these studies became the basis for assessing the level of awareness of insurance operators in the SME sektor. Low level of insurance awareness among entrepreneurs is causing the increase in the business risk.
