Insurance in the SME sector in the years 2007-2010 (results of survey research)

Summary/Abstract: The sector of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) is an important part of the insurance market. The economic growth and changes taking place in Poland also lead to chang- es in entrepreneurs' behaviour on the insurance market. The years 2007-2010 was a period in which the world had to cope with the financial crisis and recession and for Poland it was a period of economic slowdown.In the article, the authors present results of annual representative research on small and medium-sized enterprises carried out in the years 2007-2010. During the research, informa- tion about entrepreneurs' insurance awareness, about their opinions and behaviour on the insurance market was collected.
