END OF THE POEM IN THE POETRY OF RAŠA LIVADA

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the mechanism of the end of the poem in poetry of Rasa Livada, relying on Agamben’s essay The End of the Poem. Livada’s point, ironic summaries or profane advice at the end of the poem, in a specific manner synthesize heterogeneous and fragmented postmodern poem structure. While the central body of the poem deconstructs the strategies of presentations in order to illuminate the ideological constructivism of history, the end of the poem inflict a decisive blow in such a deconstruction, giving scope for short-term isolation from integrating power systems.
