Summary/Abstract: In order to better understand the many facets of nomadism and migration currents, in this paper we will focus on social networks, which represent new forms of sociality that combine the travel necessary for face-to-face encounters with distance-mediated communication. And since the question is broad and complex, we will try to analyze the evolution of the migratory phenomenon and understand the changes in interpretive paradigms, responsible for the transition from the so-called push/pull theories to studies that, especially in the last two decades, have highlighted the relational dimension and culture of migration. Thus, we will approach the concept of the network, with the aim of clarifying how the place has been transformed into a node of passage and redirection of flows, and space into something that can be bypassed both physically, through the deterritorialization of subjects, and symbolically, due to the possibility of access in a mediated form to the world at a distance (delocalization process), these changes, forcing us in a certain sense, to reconceptualize the politics of community, solidarity, identity and cultural difference.
