Summary/Abstract: This paper, the second in a series proposing to study the way in which idiomaticexpressions including animal names in French can be translated into and put to use in Romanian, isaimed at identifying the obstacles students come up against while trying to recognize, comprehendand utilize idiomatic expressions (IE). Furthermore, it presents a number of activities designed toenable the realization of these attempts.
