Summary/Abstract: Autonomous guarantees are an essential condition in the conduct of international trade. The codifications of commercial customs are contained in the C.C.I Publications from Paris starting with1978 (the oil year). Currently, the Romanian Civil Code 2011 regulates autonomous guarantees in a modern form, which are ways of guaranteeing the execution of obligations.
