Summary/Abstract: This article evokes a very important personality of Arad from the beginning of the 20th century: Composer and teacher of Church Music Trifon Lugojan. His particularly consistent activity in the field of autochthonous church music contributed to the development of Arad's own version of church music, which, thanks to Trifon Lugojan, exists and is still sung today in the churches of this area.
